2018 National Gun Owner's Action Survey
Received the 2018 National Gun Owner's Action Survey from the National Rifle Association (NRA) in the mail this week. The Survey asks the following questions:
1. Do you agree that the Second Amendment guarantees your individual right to own a firearm?
2. Do you support confirmation of pro-Second Amendment judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and the lower federal courts?
3. Do you support laws that protect your fundamental right to use a firearm to defend yourself and your loved ones from a violent criminal attacker?
4. Should Congress and the states eliminate so-called "gun free zones" that leave innocent citizens defenseless against terrorists and violent criminals?
5. Should Congress pass National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity, so that law-abiding permit holders can exercise their right to self-defense when traveling outside their home state?
6. Do you oppose any United Nations treaty that strips the U.S. of its sovereignty and gives U.N. diplomats the power to regulate every rifle, pistol and shotgun you own?
7. The anti-gun media claims that most gun owners support mandatory, national gun registration. Do you agree that law-abiding citizens should be forced to submit to mandatory gun registration or else forfeit their guns and their freedom?
8. Should NRA direct critical resources toward stopping anti-gun billionaires like Michael Bloomberg who are spending millions of dollars to destroy your Second Amendment freedom in states around the country?
9. Would you vote to reelect a member of the U.S. Congress or your state legislature who supports the gun-ban agenda?
10. Will you authorize NRA to use your survey answers to fight for you fundamental right to own a firearm for shooting, hunting and personal protection?
11. Will you fight for your freedom by joining NRA today?
I pretty much know how I would respond to these questions, but I wonder how would you?
Peace,
Everett "Skip" Jenkins
